Years came and went—cold, lonely decades spent in isolation. Dario had naught but memories to sustain him. He visited the graves of his family often, seeing to th eir upkeep. Isabella had been dead for nigh unto fifty years, yet he recalled he r smile as though they’d laughed together only yestereve. Ironic though it was for a vampire, Dario’s most cherished time was during sunlight hours. When he slept, he oft dreamt of an elusive, beautiful wench with flaxen hair and a dimpled smil e. She dressed oddly, in clothes that made little sense to him. She was his ever ything in those precious hours he had to dream. He could smell her, taste her, n igh unto feel her. Like a phantom just out of arm’s reach, she promised him happin ess, an end to the stark loneliness…then disappointed him with her nonexistence ev ery eve when he awoke. He wanted to die, the one thing he could not do. Other th an servants and the occasional paid whore, Dario had no contact with people, exc ept for those he drank of. Years pressed on and the outside world slowly changed with the passage of time. It became neither better nor worse, only different. A nd still, she was there, smiling that dimpled smile whilst he slumbered, temptin g him with her feminine beauty and carnal allure. Dario ached to hold her, to br eathe in her scent, to sink his cock deep inside her.
